About Library

The library is one of the prominent facilities of the National Insurance Academy catering to the information needs of faculty, research scholars, MDP participants and students. The library functions using Koha open-source integrated Library System with barcode. The library building has an area of 1,200+ sq. mts. dedicated to storage, administration, maintenance and dissemination of knowledge resources. The library holds knowledge resources predominantly related to Management, Insurance, Pensions, Technology and Economics, Finance, Social Sciences as supportive areas. Literature, Biographies and general knowledge books are also available to enhance the overall information and entertainment quotient.

In addition, the Library subscribes to Harvard Business Publishing case studies, which support classroom teaching, case-based learning, and academic research.

Access to E-Resources

Users can access library resources on campus through IP-based access and off campus through remote access using KNIMBUS.

Web OPAC

The Library provides a 24×7 Web OPAC facility, enabling users to search and access bibliographic details of resources anytime and anywhere via internet or intranet.

Users can search using author, title, subject, publisher, ISBN, and Boolean operators. They can also reserve books and check their account status, including transaction history.

Membership to other libraries

The Library is a member NDLI Club under the National Digital Library of India.

Institutional Repository

The Library maintains an institutional repository using DSpace, providing access to previous PGDM question papers, SIP reports, MRP reports, event records, research publications, etc.
