About library

The library is one of the prominent facilities of the National Insurance Academy catering to the information needs of faculty, research scholars, MDP participants and students. The library functions using Koha open-source integrated Library System with barcode. The library building has an area of 1,600 sq. mts. dedicated to storage, administration, maintenance and dissemination of knowledge resources. The library holds knowledge resources predominantly related to Management, Insurance, Pensions, Technology and Economics, Finance, Social Sciences as supportive areas. Literature, Biographies and general knowledge books are also available to enhance the overall information and entertainment quotient.

Membership

The membership is available to individuals associated with insurance industry. Insurance Companies, Government Organizations, Industries, Academic Institutions, Colleges, and Universities in Pune can also become Library member. Limited library access is provided to researchers from India and abroad.

Visitor Log System

Online Register for library visitors is made available which collects feedback/suggestions while keeping note on daily visitors.
